The Parliament Panthers 13&Over Athletes
want to give YOU a Parents Night Out!

The Basic Info: 

• Date & Time: June 27th, 6-8:30PM
• Location: Parliament Pool
• Who: Parliament Pool member children ages 4+ who are potty-trained (no swim diapers, please)
• Cost: $25 for the first child, $10 for each additional child (regardless of time stayed)
• Proceeds will go toward the Annual 13&Over Panthers Dinner Event

The Finer Details:

• Child to 13&Over Athlete Ratio: 3 to 2
• If the number of registered children exceeds the capacity of the number of 13&Over athletes working the event, a waitlist will be implemented. Waitlisted children will be offered spots if/when more 13&Over Athletes sign up to help.
• Pool Area Groups: Parents will assign children to one of four Pool Area Groups and children will be given a color-coded wristband accordingly
  • Baby pool only
  • Shallow section of the pool & baby pool
  • Full pool privileges excluding the dive well
  • Full pool including the dive well
• 13&Over Athletes will keep their assigned children together at all times except for using the restroom (13&Over Athletes will not escort children into the restroom)
• Children will be allowed to use the playground, and 13&Over Athletes will set up cornhole and other games in the grass area
• 13&Over Athletes will provide ice-pops during the 6:50 break; other ideas include a dance party or sing along during the 7:50 break
• At least three S&D parents will be on hand for adult supervision during the event
• S&D parents will run check-in and check-out; children will only be released to their parents
• Parents will sign a waiver excusing S&D of liability for injuries during the event
• Parents will register via a Google Form (linked below) and pay at check-in
• Day of “walk up” registration only if we have excess teen capacity
• Inclement Weather:
  • If the Pool closes after Parents Night Out has started, there are no refunds 
  • Parents will be called if the pool is closing
  • 13&Over Athletes will stay with children until parents arrive to check them out
  • If the Pool closes before the event has started, there is no reschedule date
• Day of “walk up” registration will happen only if there is excess capacity
