Parliament Panthers

Coach Dan is back for his 9th season as the Parliament Panthers Swim Head Coach! He's been in or around the pool since he was little and began his involvement in the NVSL with the “Little Rat” program at Rutherford Pool. He swam competitively through the age of 18, including NVSL, club, and with the Woodson High School Swim Team where served as a captain. Fun fact - Dan's first competitive swim experience occurred during an NVSL meet at Parliament Pool! He has worked with swimmers of all ages and ability levels in private and group settings. He is a USA Swimming certified coach.  Outside of the summer NVSL summer season, Dan is a coach with York Swim club where he has coached both Seniors and Age Groupers. When he is not around the pool, Dan works as a Civics teacher at Lake Braddock Secondary School and chases his son Daniel around. He looks forward to working with the families and swimmers at Parliament Pool again this summer and helping create more wonderful summertime memories.
