Hello Panther Families,

It is time to celebrate all of our extraordinary swimmers and divers! Please join us for the end-of-season Swim and Dive Banquet, Sunday, July 21st at 5:30 pm! This will be a 2-part progressive event:

Part 1 - Potluck dinner, award ceremony, and slideshow in the Lake Braddock Secondary School Cafeteria from 5:30-8pm (Use Door #15 to enter Lake Braddock).

Part 2 - Follow-on swim party and desserts at the pool 8-10pm (weather permitting). The pool will be closed for this after-hours event, open only to Panther families!

RSVP. We request ALL Panther families RSVP in Swimtopia, indicating whether or not you’ll attend.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES. In order to make this event happen, we will need your help with set-up, clean-up, the potluck, and bringing additional support items. Since most dive families will be fully obligated running Dive Divisionals that day, request swim families be extra generous with your volunteerism. Please sign up here:

POTLUCK PLAN. See below for which Potluck items are assigned by the first letter of your last name. Have your dish at the school no later than 5:15 pm, as we plan to begin eating promptly at 5:30.

• A-H bring a main dish (serving 10-12) to share
• I-Z bring a side dish (serving 10-12) to share
• Bottles of water will be provided; if you’d like to drink something other than water, bring it with you.
• Everyone is invited to bring a dessert to the pool party at 8pm to share!
• Don't forget to bring a serving utensil and label any items that are not disposable

ATTIRE. Typically our swimmers and divers dress up a little bit, however, there is no dress code.

COACH APPRECIATION. This week and next in the pool’s multi-purpose room, there will be craft supplies for swimmers and divers to make thank you cards or drawings for their coaches during practice hours. There will also be a box for each coach, to place the completed cards in. The boxes full of thank you cards will be presented to the coaches at the banquet. Please ensure your children participate and help ensure they clean up after themselves with the craft supplies.

Join your friends and family for our annual action-packed, Parents vs Kids Relays and Family vs Family Relays! Bring dinner to the pool and enjoy an evening with your friends and teammates! The End of Season Parent Meeting will be afterward at 7:45.
